Our Story
About Maplewood Home Care
A South London care agency founded on the belief that everyone deserves to live well at home, with the right support around them.
Who we are
Maplewood Home Care was founded in 2014 by a group of experienced care professionals who believed South London families deserved better — more personal, more responsive, and more compassionate home care.
Over the past decade we've grown from a small local team into a trusted provider supporting hundreds of individuals across Streatham, Brixton, Norwood, Tooting, Clapham, Balham, and beyond — while keeping the personal touch that defines us.
We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and hold a ‘Good’ rating across all five inspection domains. But regulation is a floor, not a ceiling — our standard is the care we would want for someone we love.

Our Values
Everything we do is guided by three core principles.
Compassion
We treat every person in our care as we would a member of our own family — with warmth, patience, and genuine kindness.
Integrity
We are honest, transparent, and accountable. Families trust us with their loved ones and we take that responsibility seriously.
Dignity
Independence, privacy, and choice are at the core of every care plan we create. We support, never dictate.
